Here you will find a wide variety of meaningful events and unique opportunities both internal and external to Calvary. These are great ways to get more involved in both our church and our community. For each event there is a title, address, date, time, description, and registration link or contact person. We hope you find something that you are interested in joining us for and are moved deeply as a result.

Soul Shop: Suicide Prevention


6300 Clarkston Rd, Clarkston, MI

March 14 | 7:45am-4pm

Soul Shop trains faith community leaders to offer support, hope, and connection to those in their congregations. It also equips participants with the resources and guidance they need to foster hope and healing in their community. This event is co-sponsored by Calvary, Clarkston Community Church, and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). It will be held at Clarkston Community Church and has a cost of $25.


Baldwin Center


212 Baldwin Ave, Pontiac, MI

March 14 | 10am

Help serve food to those in need at the Baldwin Center in Pontiac. The Center has helped provide critical services to the underserved community of Pontiac for over 35 years and proudly feeds over 30,000 healthy meals per year. It's mission is to feed, clothe, educate, and empower those less fortunate to ultimately help create a thriving community with engaged citizens.

Mission Outreach Meeting

Bring Your Parent to Class!

March 15 | 9:30am, 11am, & 12:30pm

Leverage valuable family time by joining us for an hour of children or youth programming. All adults are welcome to come and learn more about our Youth & Family ministry. You do not need to be a parent or guardian to support our youth in this way. Classes for Preschool-7th Grade are at 9:30am and 11am. Class for Confirmation and High School youth is at 12:30pm.

Lent Dinner Church

March 18, 25, & April 1

Available By 6pm

We will not be gathering in person on Wednesday nights for Lent Dinner Church, but instead will share live-streamed versions of this time together through our YouTube channel. These dinner services will be available by 6pm and can be viewed anytime after for your convenience so you can watch during dinner. They will be about 20 minutes long and will include a brief message, song, prayer, and kid's moment. We really hope that we can join together in this way as you stay home and let us bring Lent Dinner Church to you. Below you will find links to the various dinner services.

Stations of the Cross

Virtual Only

The stations of the cross are an annual guided prayer walk created to deepen your Lenten experience. Due to current circumstances we will be offering a virtual version of the stations this year via our YouTube channel. We highly recommend you take the time to join us for this opportunity, especially if you never have before. It will allow you to experience Lent and the journey leading up to Easter in a whole new way.


Social Security: Timing is Everything

For many, Social Security is a vital source of income. But it can be a confusing topic and making the most of it has a lot to do with when you apply for benefits. Attend this event to learn what Social Security can mean for you.

LIFE Ministry

2nd Monday of Each Month | 10am

The Living In Finite Experiences Ministry promotes mental health awareness throughout our community. There are LIFE Ministry monthly meetings on the 2nd Monday of each month at our Clarkston campus where we schedule and plan opportunities for awareness, prevention, and support. You will also see that some of our other opportunities are in fact LIFE Ministry centered events as well.

Women of the ELCA

Women of the ELCA (WELCA) is a women's Bible study that is offered at our Clarkston campus. Women of all ages are welcome to come study the Bible together and grow in faith.

Celebrate Recovery Clarkston

We've all been hurt by people, we've hurt ourselves, and we've hurt others. As a result, every single one of us ends up with some hurt, habit, or hang up. The question we all face is, "where do we go from here?". Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to find community and freedom from the issues that are controlling our lives. Clarkston Community Church is housing all meetings at this time and the address can be found above.

Community Impact Weekend

November 7 & 8

Community Impact Weekend occurs each year during the last weekend in April and the first weekend in November. It is a My Habitat Clarkston event that helps serve our community one weekend at a time. This is your chance to get involved, make a difference, and make our community a better place. We serve low-income families, senior citizens, those with special needs, non-profit organizations, food pantries, our local schools, and many others in the greater Clarkston area. Volunteers are always needed! Register yourself, your family, or your community group today.
