BECAUSE YOU MATTER

This is the second of a four-week emphasis on living into our expanded Clarkston Campus! When you get a chance to visit the various parts of our expanded Clarkston Campus, prayerfully walk through, and envision how God is calling us to use this space to transform lives AND how God is calling each of us to grow in supporting it with our time, gifts, and resources. Why? Because You Matter! You, the person next to you, the person you work with or go to school with or meet in the grocery store, the person in our community who is searching or hurting, the people everywhere Jesus came to love and offer life, forgiveness, healing, and hope!

Dream about God's purpose and maximum impact we can have in the world God loves, and to prayerfully consider how God is calling you to invest in this incredible opportunity to reach out and grow!

Community Impact Weekend | Repair & Run

At the beginning of November, we participated in My Habitat Clarkston’s Community Impact Weekend and completed so many projects across the community.  The joy and fellowship expressed was fantastic. But how can we keep that momentum going beyond the two weekends per year. Our Men’s Ministry team recently learned of the ongoing need in our community to assist with repair needs in homes.  Several projects were identified through Community Impact weekend, however, they just couldn’t be completed in that short amount of time.  In partnership with My Habitat Clarkston, Local Churches and volunteers developed the “Repair and Run” initiative. Every 3rd week of the month a team of volunteers will converge on the community to repair homes (roofing, flooring, windows, doors, stairs, ramps, plumbing, heating, etc). What the Men’s Ministry team is asking everyone is if you would like to volunteer to support OR you know of anyone, either yourself, a neighbor or a relative within in the community that needs repair in or on a home to please let us know.
