8th - 9th Grade

Confirmation is a two year ministry that gathers during the school year to intentionally prepare our youth for the journey towards celebrating their Affirmation of Baptism. We do this together through many experiences both inside and outside the walls of Calvary. Over the two years, students will study the: Ten Commandments, Lord's Prayer, Apostles' Creed, Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion, as well as the Lutheran identity and specific topics associated with Calvary. Please reach out to us if you are interested in learning more about this exciting and engaging ministry opportunity.

Great Lakes Gathering

Radisson Hotel, Kalamazoo, MI

2020 February 7-9

8th - 12th Grade

The Great Lakes Gathering community of faith brings together groups of high school youth and young adults throughout the Great Lakes region for a weekend of faith, service, and leadership. This event is designed to walk alongside participants as they connect faith and life in ways that unlock their specific gifts and interests. The hope is that each member of the Great Lakes Gathering community will become an agent of change in a hurting world as they experience and learn to share the radical, transformational, and counter-cultural love of Christ. The trip cost is $150 per person plus money for food.
