Here you will find a wide variety of meaningful events and unique opportunities both internal and external to Calvary. These are great ways to get more involved in both our church and our community. Registration is now being facilitated through Realm, our new church software. If you do not have a Realm account please call or email the church office and we will send you a link that will allow you to create an account and sign up for events. We hope you find something that you are interested in joining us for and are moved deeply as a result.
In-Person Ministries Paused
Due to the prevalence of COVID-19 in Oakland County, we have paused (at least through the end of November) in-person worship and other indoor ministry events at our Clarkston Campus. We will of course continue our Online Worship at 9:30am each Sunday (live-streamed via YouTube). We very much appreciate your flexibility and prayerful support and we thank you for all of the ways you are creatively connecting and growing in faith. As we've said from the beginning of this difficult pandemic, our church has NEVER closed. Below there is a link to a letter from Senior Pastor Jonathan Heierman that discusses all of this in more detail.
Home Advent Preparation
Let's prepare together and be ready for the beginning of Advent on Sunday, November 29. Pull out your old Advent wreath from past years (or make a new one this month) and be "prepared to prepare" for what just might be the most spiritually charged Advent season and Christmas celebration you've every had. Below is the link to a guide, prepared by Spiritual Development Director Debbie Heierman, which illustrates the significance of the Advent candles and describes everything you will need in order to be ready for Advent this year.
Growth Groups are a vital aspect of our ministry. They are small groups that provide a safe place to meet new friends and grow deeply in faith throughout the year. You definitely do not have to be a member to participate. Groups are currently using virtual Zoom video conferencing. Registration is now being facilitated through Realm, our new church software. If you do not have a Realm account please call or email the church office and we will send you a link that will allow you to create an account and sign up for groups.

You will also see that some of our other opportunities are in fact LIFE Ministry centered events as well. Community Impact Weekend
Community Impact Weekend occurs each year during the last weekend in April and the first weekend in November. It is a My Habitat Clarkston event that helps serve our community one weekend at a time. This is your chance to get involved, make a difference, and make our community a better place. We serve low-income families, senior citizens, those with special needs, non-profit organizations, food pantries, our local schools, and many others in the greater Clarkston area. Volunteers are always needed!
