Our poly-site model of mission and outreach has led us to a partnership with "Christ the King Lutheran Church" Lapeer since the spring of 2017. This congregation was looking for leadership to help it grow, and pastoral presence to care for it's members and guide them into a deeper awareness of God’s plans for them. Mission Development Pastor Ken Greble is currently working with Christ the King to provide that care and community growth leadership throughout the week. Calvary helps supply these resources of leadership, education, and pastoral care.
This worshipping community is currently growing and changing how it welcomes visitors, cares for itself with Growth Groups, and envisions what God is calling us to do in the future! Christ the King is made up of real people living real lives and discovering the real love that God has shown each of us through Jesus Christ.
Together we search, grow, ask questions, find answers, laugh, cry, celebrate, and support one another with the grace and love of Jesus Christ. If you feel a void in your life or if you’re new to the area and are simply looking for a community of believers, please join us.
