"It's just a phase, don't miss it!" Our approach to youth ministry is centered around maximizing every chapter of a child's life. We do this by concentrating on five phases. Phase 2 focuses on Elementary aged kids - Kindergarten-5th Grade.

Baptism

We view the Baptism milestone as an entrance into God's family and a significant step in the formation of a living and eternal relationship with Jesus at any phase or age of life. You do not need to be a member of Calvary to celebrate Baptism here with us. By way of preparation, we offer pre-baptismal sessions with our Senior Pastor where you to meet to learn more about what Baptism means and the lifetime of support that Calvary offers.

First Communion

3rd Grade and up

In this milestone, parents and students attend special classes focused on the meaning of Communion. Typically this happens in Third Grade, but if your student is interested in participating, please contact us to explore the process. Annually, students receive First Communion during our Maundy Thursday Worship as part of Holy Week.

Second Grade Bibles

Each fall, Second Grade students receive a new Bible and receive a special blessing during worship. Bible classes are then offered for parents and students at this age to develop and learn more about journeying through the Bible,

Vacation Bible School  |  VBS

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is an annual summer event we hold for kids to learn more about and grow in their faith. Each year there is an exciting and engaging new theme and cast of characters. Each and every year it is an impactful experience for children from Calvary and the Clarkston community. All are welcome!
