ELCA Youth Gatherings

Every three years, approximately 30,000 high school youth and their adult leaders from across the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) gather for a week of faith formation known as the ELCA Youth Gathering. Through days spent in interactive learning, worship, Bible study, service and fellowship, young people grow in faith and are challenged and inspired to live their faith in their daily lives. The next gathering is summer 2022 in Minneapolis, MN! Stay tuned for planning and faithraising opportunities. An important part of the Gathering's ministry are the two pre-events, the Multicultural Youth Leadership Event (MYLE), a faith formation and leadership development event primarily for youth of color, and the tAble which is a gathering that brings together, blesses, and empowers youth with disabilities.

Graduation

Each spring we celebrate with a recognition and blessing of our High School Graduates during worship.

Baptism

We view this milestone of Baptism as an entrance into God's family and a significant step in the formation of a living and eternal relationship with Jesus at any phase or age of life. You do not need to be a member of Calvary to celebrate Baptism here with us. By way of preparation, we offer pre-baptismal sessions that allow you to meet personally with our pastors, learning more about what Baptism means and the lifetime of support that Calvary offers.
