Here you will find a wide variety of meaningful events and unique opportunities both internal and external to Calvary. These are great ways to get more involved in both our church and our community. Registration is now being facilitated through Realm, our new church software. Walk for Hope

Join us for the 3rd Annual Walk for Hope event (formerly known as MOM Race) to raise funds and awareness for mental health wellness and suicide prevention. Proceeds from this year's event will support On A Dragonfly's Wings, a local non-profit organization sharing hope and light after suicide. All ages welcome!

We are collecting items to support the efforts of Disaster Relief At Work.

6 sponges with scrub side | 1 scrub brush

2 cotton clean rags | 2 microfiber clean rags
1 dish soap (16-28 oz bottle) | 1 clothes line (50 ft)
1 can air freshener (aerosol or pump) | 50 clothes pins
1 pkg reusable towels (8-12 count) | 5 disposable dust masks
1 liquid laundry detergent (50 oz bottle) | 2 pair reusable, latex waterproof gloves
1 roll of trash bags (33-45 gal heavy duty contractor bags & tall kitchen bags)
1 household cleaner (12-16 oz bottle to be mixed in water - no spray bottles)
1 pair knit work gloves (must have latex/rubber grip/palm)
1 insect repellent spray (6-14 oz can - not killer or fogger)

Accent Pontiac

We are collecting snacks and instruments for our newest community partner, Accent Pontiac. We will be collecting individually packaged snacks, juice boxes, and mini water bottles. We will also be collecting musical instruments. Donations can be dropped off at our Clarkston Campus. We are also preparing meals twice a month that will help feed children that are a part of the organization. You can register to serve with the link below. Lighthouse Food Distribution

Wednesdays | 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM


We continue our partnership with Lighthouse of Oakland County to distribute boxes with 35 pounds of non & perishable items to our neighbors and local agencies Wednesday mornings at our Clarkston Campus. At 8am, the food boxes are removed from a semi and stacked on pallets. The boxes will then be distributed between 9am-12pm to individual families and local organizations that drive through for curbside pick upIf you would like to be a part of this amazing serving opportunity, please email us with the link below.

Baldwin Center Sandwich Making

As part of our ongoing partnership with the Baldwin Center in Pontiac, Calvary has a fresh, new way for us to continue this very important and impactful work in the Pontiac area. Thursdays at 10am, Calvary will be assembling 200-300 sandwiches each week at our Clarkston Campus. Serving opportunities include: shoppers, sandwich makers/packers, and drivers. We are also looking for sponsors to support this new program. One week of sandwiches costs $250, that's about $1 per sandwich.

Beyond Broken Hearted

This is a hybrid group that meets both in-person and virtually via Zoom concurrently. The group considers how to more deeply look for, look through, and look within for God's Presence as we journey with both life and storms.

LIFE Ministry


Living in Finite Experiences (LIFE) Ministry promotes mental health awareness throughout our community. The LIFE Team hosts monthly meetings to plan and schedule opportunities for awareness, prevention, and support as well as ways to partner with other community organizations. Each year, LIFE Ministry's goal is to host and/or support mental health awareness events each month. The team also distributes a monthly newsletter electronically as a way to continue sharing ideas, encouraging others, and breaking the stigma associated with mental health. LIFE Ministry is committed to bringing appropriate resources to the forefront on mental health concerns impacting our community while continuing open, honest, supportive, and destigmatized conversations around the topic of suicide.

Community Impact Weekend


Clarkston, MI

November 4-6


Community Impact Weekend occurs each year during the last weekend in April and the first weekend in November. It is a My Habitat Clarkston event that helps serve our community one weekend at a time. This is your chance to get involved, make a difference, and make our community a better place. We serve low-income families, senior citizens, those with special needs, non-profit organizations, food pantries, our local schools, and many others in the greater Clarkston area. Volunteers are always needed!
