calvary covid-19 latest updates

In light of the current public health situation and the high priority we place on the health and safety of our congregation and community, we will be temporarily changing many of the ways in which we operate. We assure you however that despite these changes our church is not 'closed' and that we will continue to offer ministry that provides a sense of hope, peace, and stability in the midst of this uncertainty and fear. Below are some of the ways that we are adjusting our ministry for the time being. To stay connected and updated on more detailed church happenings, visit our This Week page. Please remember that Online Giving opportunities are always available.

Live-Stream Sunday Worship

Rather than gathering in person on Sunday mornings, we are instead sharing live-streamed worship services through our YouTube channel. These services can be watched live at 9:30am or replayed anytime after for your convenience. They are complete with engaging music and meaningful sermons. We very much hope you can join us for worship in this new and exciting way! Below you will find a link to the latest service.

August 9th Worship

Parking Lot Worship

6805 Bluegrass Dr, Clarkston, MI

August 16 | 11am-12pm

This Sunday, we are offering a brief outdoor service in our parking lot utilizing a new FM radio transmitter. Safe self-serve Communion will be available for this worship time, or you are welcome to bring your own. We feel this is the safest way to move forward at this time, and a good way for us to be outside at our Clarkston Campus in a way that will cause less disruption for our neighbors. You can stay in your car or bring a lawn chair to sit just outside your car so you can hear your radio. Restrooms will be available, however, entry into the church will require wearing a face covering.

Growth Groups

Current Growth Groups are either virtual (using Zoom video conferencing) or outdoors (practicing physical distancing and face coverings). This allows us to see each other safely and stay connected during these challenging times. Sign up for these groups is being facilitated through our new church software, Realm. If you are interested in signing up for a group, please contact the church office and we will send you a link that will allow you to create a Realm account and sign up for the group.

Pastoral Care

We want to assure you that despite everything that is going on, our pastors remain available for our community. Whether you have an emergency, are in need of counseling, or something else altogether, your needs remain our highest priority. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us for pastoral care of any sort during these challenging times. You can also send us Prayer Requests if you find that is helpful in any way.
